Robin Logie’s EMDR trainings take place in an easily accessible and interesting location:

Plymouth

Since the first white settlers to America set sail in the Mayflower from Plymouth in 1620, it has always been an interesting place to visit. It is very much a maritime city with several marinas where there are a variety of restaurants. Plymouth is a great place to wander or visit the National Marine Aquarium (the UK’s largest) on a rainy day.

There are direct trains from London (3 to 4 hours), Bristol (2 hours), Exeter (1 hour) and it is 45 minutes from the end of the M5 near Exeter. If you wish to arrive by air, the best bet is to fly to Exeter which has direct flights from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Norwich, London, Manchester and Newcastle.

Plymouth is within spitting distance of some gorgeous places. It is close to the edge of Dartmoor and some of the most spectacular sections of the South West Coast Path. Bovisands Beach is 20 minutes away by car. Just cross the Tamar Bridge and you are into Cornwall.

The EMDR Training will take place at the Crowne Plaza hotel by Plymouth Hoe, 15 minutes’ walk from the station.
